HOW TO APPLY
| STEP 1: |

Carefully read Guidelines to ensure that your funding request fits WGBCF''s grant priorities before submitting a Letter of Inquiry. Feel free to contact us if you have questions about your organization's/program's "fit" with WGBCF programs. |

if the grant cycle is FULL orif your letter is received 2 weeks or less prior to a full proposal deadline, your request may be deferred until the next grant cycle.

Please send your inquiry via regular postal mail. No e-mailed, faxed, or FedEx, UPS inquiries accepted.
Your letter should briefly address the following areas:
1) your organization’s background, mission, and date of establishment;
2) description of the specific program for which you are requesting funds,
(including whom it will serve);
3) amount of your request and specifics of how WGBCF funds will be used.(ie. staff, materials, etc).

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER A DEADLINE MAY BE DECLINED . |
 |
Site Visits: As time and resources permit, WGBCF staff would like to visit each organization before granting or denying a request. Site visits are meant to be informal opportunities to develop rapport and partnership, and to see first-hand the good work you and your staff are doing that is often difficult to convey in a proposal! |
 |
Final Decisions: Summaries of applications will be reviewed, then sent to the funder for final selection. Final decisions and notifications to applicants will be made by the posted deadlines (typically 10-13 weeks after receipt of full Proposal). |
